+ Rhett J Holmes | Principal/President

As president of IDP Housing, Rhett is involved in business development, oversees all operations and finance of the company while cultivating strong and solid business relationships. Prior to IDP Housing, Rhett was a principal in Ambling companies and its affiliates. He was directly responsible for the strategic direction and planning of its real estate acquisitions, development, and property management affiliates through his oversight of Ambling Property Investments. Rhett holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in finance from the University of Georgia. He currently serves on the board of directors for both the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) and the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition (GAHC).

+ Christine T Holmes | Principal

Ms. Holmes is a Principal of IDP Housing, LP. Previously she was a Director at Stifel Nicolaus and was Senior Vice President and Education & Not-for-Profit Group Manager at Merchant Capital LLC for 11 years as well as an education-banking specialist with George K. Baum for 5 years. Ms. Holmes' banking expertise in Education includes working with public and private universities nationwide to evaluate debt capacity and develop debt strategies and policies for capital needs including privatized modeling and structures. Prior to her investment banking focus, Ms. Holmes served as Education Sector Leader in the Public Finance Department of Standard & Poor's Ratings Services in New York. In that position, she was responsible for overseeing the assignment and rating of all education credits in five domestic offices as well as coordinating development of higher education criteria internationally. Ms. Holmes has extensive experience in evaluating many types of education credits and has more than 25 years of analytical experience in public finance. Furthermore, Ms. Holmes has been a member of NACUBO and its regional affiliates; Member of National Association of Independent Schools; National Business Officers Association; and the American Association of Museums.

+ Steve Brooks | Chief Financial Officer

Steve is responsible for arranging and structuring finance programs for all types of real estate development projects including LIHTC, new market tax credits, FHA insured mortgages, tax exempt bonds, senior debt obligations, mezzanine financing and equity placement. Over the last 16 years, Steve has arranged and closed over $1 billion in real estate finance and overseen the disposition of over $350 million of real estate assets. Steve oversees all business transactions including applications, negotiations, fee structures, expenditures, and budgets. Steve is a certified public accountant. He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant.

+ Thompson Kurrie III | Vice President of Development

Thompson reports directly to the President to ensure the success of IDP's development business. He leads strategic growth in affordable rental, acquisition/rehabilitation, mixed income, mixed use, seniors, and special needs development. Also, he cultivates and maintains strong relationships with existing and potential capital providers, including lenders, equity investors, foundations, and public housing finance entities. Prior to joining the IDP Housing Team, Thompson was a commercial real estate banker and closed over $200 million in real estate transactions. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000.

+ Carter Broun | Vice President

Mr. Broun reports directly to the President to ensure the success of IDP’s development business. He will provide support with the due diligence and financing of various real estate developments and will lead strategic growth in acquisition/rehabilitation, mixed income, mixed use, senior, and special needs development. Mr. Broun’s experience has been in the various phases of real estate development including but not limited to project management, financial modeling, and marketing for commercial, residential, and industrial properties. Furthermore, he has experience with various real estate transactions utilizing Historic Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits, and Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Mr. Broun graduated from Tulane University with a Masters of Sustainable Real Estate Development and from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Housing.

+ Mike McLeod | Assistant Vice President – Asset Management / Finance

Mike is responsible for assisting and contributing to the Development/Finance, Due Diligence, Acquisitions, and Asset Management activities of IDP and its related entities. Mike has over 20 years of experience in banking, commercial real estate finance, LIHTC/Affordable housing development and finance.  This experience includes serving as a National Bank Examiner for the U.S. Treasury Department under the agency of the Comptroller of the Currency, across the Southwestern United States.  Additionally, Mike served as the Director of Asset Management for Ambling Companies and its interrelated companies. This experience included the oversight/management over a large portfolio of LIHTC/Affordable housing, student housing, and market rate properties.  He was also directly involved in the acquisition, disposition, and reposition of individual properties and large LIHTC property portfolios. Mike is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

+ Dustin Merriman | Project Manager

As Project Manager, Dustin is responsible for ensuring that the Owners' goals and objectives are met while using the best construction management practices to deliver a high quality project while staying on schedule and within budget. In addition, Dustin also has over 15 years of experience in the HVAC industry including custom residential homes, educational institutions, hotels and resorts, churches, industrial plants, military installations, retail stores, and supermarkets.  His experience includes design, budgeting, management, installation, and service. Dustin graduated from Valdosta Technical College with a degree in Air Conditioning Technology and Valdosta State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Management.

+ Laurie Jarvis | Operations Manager

Laurie works with the team in developing current marketing collateral and compiles market research data for impending project developments. She coordinates the assembly of applications and submissions for Low Income Housing Tax Credit, grants, and other types of soft funds. Furthermore, she coordinates all events, such as ground breakings and grand openings. She works with the vice president of development with affordable rental, acquisition/rehabilitation, mixed income, historic, mixed use, seniors, and special needs development. In addition, Laurie is responsible office administration including but not limited to IT and HR needs. She also manages all single family rental homes located in Valdosta, GA and provides additional help for the President of IDP Housing. She has a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Valdosta State University.

+ Blake Dykes | Controller

Blake handles all accounting tasks for IDP Housing and its entities. His responsibilities include coordinating, planning, and reporting financial activities to the CFO. Prior to IDP Housing, Blake was employed with Chaparral Boats as Senior Accountant. Blake also has property accounting experience from his time of employment with Ambling Companies, where he handled a portfolio of 26 HUD properties. Blake graduated from Valdosta State University with bachelor degrees in Finance and Accounting, along with a Master's of Business Administration degree. Blake is currently working to obtain CPA certification.

+ Mara Wildes | Accounts Payable

Handles accounts payable transactions. Responsible for processing all invoices submitted for payment by IDP Team. Supports the Controller in accounting functions. Assists with other projects as requested. Prior to joining IDP, Mara was employed at a staffing agency for 20 years handling recruiting and HR related functions. Mara graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications.

+ Oscar Coronado | Financial Analyst

Oscar as financial analyst assists the team in Financial Modeling, Asset Management, and provide additional IT support. He is specialized as business consultant and IT management, focused in Open Source and business development. His roles Back in Venezuela, he was the IT chief for a multi-location Private Hospital and was the head of design for all financial developments. He has both an MBA and a Bachelor's in accounting from the University of Carabobo, Venezuela.
